White Dog is glad for the return to routine yet she misses the excitement of squiring guests around and the additional attention more people brings her. Now she is content to rest on my blanket and await Steve's return from class, but awhile ago when she heard Howard's voice on the phone White Dog got her Monkey toy in anticipation of a play partner. To her, our everyday life alternates between comfortable and dull.
