White Dog calmly awaits the arrival of Howard and Jim who fly in from Chicago tonight (Howard via London!). Whether we see them first tonight or tomorrow depends on the time of their actual arrival in ABQ and on Howard's jet lag. White Dog knows they will love her and has heard enough stories to think of them already as "Uncles." She especially likes that they always ask about her when they phone. I must be sure, White Dog cautions me, to include enough stuff at the house and dog-friendly situations so that she is not excluded from spending time with them.
