White Dog and I had a surprise bonus--Steve took an extra day's vacation to spend with us (and to prepare for tonight's semester start at school). Both she and Steve were a little selfishly unhappy when I agreed to babysit Camryn in the morning but Jesse was in a bind and it was the right thing to do. White Dog and Camryn continued working on their trust/gentleness issues through the liberal use of treats and guided petting. We all went to the park and played ball until our noses were cold. After Jesse reclaimed her baby boy, we three still had time alone for a luxurious brushing and a restorative cuddle nap. We will sure miss Steve tomorrow!
