White Dog has taken up periodically patrolling the yard perimeter since the construction began. Several times across the day she goes out and walks along the wall, stopping now and again to tilt her head back for a sniff or just to listen. Perhaps she is imagining the digging power applied to her own excavation projects in the yard. She stands for a time at the gate, just observing and sometimes issuing a barking challenge. Then White Dog returns inside where life is "normal."
