According to The Economist, Democrats think it was a mistake to have invaded Iraq.
Republicans apparently support the invasion of Iraq.
In other words, the Republicans support an essentially militaristic policy.
Hitler was a militarist and rather gay. (Hitler was bisexual?)
The Republicans would support military gentlemen such as Mountbatten, Oldfield, Kitchener, Haig..., all of whom were, reportedly, a bit gay.
Republicans appear to be mainly conservative Christians.
They would be fans of C S Lewis (C S Lewis) who was a conservative Christian and reportedly keen on boys.

Republicans appear to be publicly anti-Gay. They would have been fans of Frederick the Great. In Frederick's Prussia, the death sentence was mandatory for sodomy.

They would be fans of Roy Cohn ( Roy Cohn) who persecuted gay people and who frequented gay bars.
They would be fans of Kaiser Wilhelm II ( Nona: Kaiser Wilhelm II, Prince Eulenberg and Friedrich Krupp) who was apparently a bit gay.
They might be in two minds about Ronald Reagan and his gay friends.
