Glasgow Airport Terror, the Jubilee Plot, MI5, a Royal Marine, Gladio

In 1887, the British police uncovered the ‘Jubilee Plot’, a plan to blow up Westminster Abbey, Queen Victoria and half the British Cabinet.

The ‘ringleader’ of the plot was Francis Millen of the Clan na Gael. He was allowed to escape to the USA where he died in mysterious circumstances.

Millen had been recruited by the British government 'to stir the Fenians into bombing Britain' – a scheme designed to discredit the Home Rule movement.

Millen was hired with the approval of the Conservative leader, Lord Salisbury, the Prime Minister.

The Jubilee Plot was the work of the British government.

Lockerbie is widely believed to have been the work of the CIA.

The semi-detached house in the quiet commuter village of Houston, Renfrewshire, just outside Glasgow:

"A neighbour who lives opposite the home said the two men, both under 30, were renting the property...

The 25-year-old Royal Marine added: "One thing that was odd about them was that they always drove different cars. I have seen a light coloured Mercedes standing in the drive, a silver Peugeot, as well as a silver Astra...

"There were claims in the U.S. that one of the suspects had been arrested before by British police investigating another terror plot...

"U.S. officials say the image of a man seen running from the Mercedes near the Tiger Tiger club early on Friday 'resembled' a suspect arrested previously in connection with the investigation into so-called Al Qaeda 'General' Dhiren Barot.

"He is said to have been released because of lack of evidence."

Operation Gladio was organised by 'fascists' within the security services of the West.

Reportedly, the idea was to kill innocent people and then blame this on others.

Gladio was about keeping the right-wing elite in power.

Gladio agent Vincenzo Vinciguerra stated, in sworn testimony:

'You had to attack civilians, the people, women, children, innocent people, unknown people far removed from any political game. The reason was quite simple: to force ... the public to turn to the state to ask for greater security."

Italian Prime Minister Giulio Andreotti revealed the existence of Gladio in 1991.

Parliamentary investigations in Italy, Switzerland and Belgium have given us a little of the truth.

The book "NATO's Secret Armies: Operation Gladio and Terrorism in Western Europe," by Daniele Ganser documents some of what we know.

Run by 'fascist' elements in NATO and the Pentagon, right-wing militias carried out acts of terrorism and electoral subversion in countries such as Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Turkey and West Germany.

Gladio was the name used in Italy.

85 people were killed on August 2, 1980 in the bombing of the Bologna train station.

According to the Italian Senate, after its investigation in 2000, the bombers were later discovered to be "men inside Italian state institutions and ... men linked to the structures of United States intelligence."

Reportedly, the Bologna bomb was part of Gladio's 'strategy of tension' - creating fear to keep populations in thrall to "strong leaders" who will protect the nation from the ever-present terrorist threat.

The beginning of the 'strategy of tension' in Italy came in Dec. 12, 1969 when a bomb exploded inside the Banca Nazionale dell' Agricoltura in Milan's Piazza Fontana. 16 people were killed and 58 wounded.
