Several SBC bloggers report receiving an email (which purports to be from an ABC News producer) about tomorrow night's 20/20, which will feature a story on allegations of sexual abuse by some Southern Baptist pastors. Ethics Daily has been covering the story for several months now; check out their coverage for more information.

This is a sad situation. I hope that ABC won't drag the SBC's name through the dirt. I also hope that the SBC will use this as an opportunity to address growing concerns about this terrible problem. There's no excuse for ignoring it.
