White Dog has excellent hearing and superb aural recollection. We sat in the living room this evening with the blinds already drawn listening to the radio and talking. There was an usual amount of traffic and street noise drifting in from outside. White Dog tilted her head, listening, then jumped up, gave her "Welcome Home" bark and ran out the dog door. Two minutes later Rob, newly arrived home and complaining about how far down the block he had to park, came in our back door followed by a wagging-tailed White Dog.
