White Dog seemed bored with the usual fetch and tug-of-war games played with Steve after dinner. Losing interest with one toy after another, White Dog looked up at Steve, expectant and restless. When he brought out the training treats she was perfectly happy to practice her entire trick repertoire: rollover, dead dog, dance, polar bear, sit, and back up and bow.
