White Dog and Steve spent the day celebrating my 50th birthday with me. French cheese and almond croissants in a juniper grove basking in the warm blue day and listening t the wind run down the mountain were enough to make us very glad to be alive. A special dinner by Steve and calls of birthday wishes from loved ones were each announced by White Dog and filled me with gratitude. To quote our songwriting friend, James, "It's great to be me...today!"
