White Dog hates monthly budget night but for different reasons than I do. She feels left out and ignored as we focus on sorting bills, tallying income vs debt, and being fiscally responsible. By the end of these necessary evenings she is usually cranky and willing to settle for even negative attention. True-to-form White Dog awakened Steve twice during the night with her gratuitous barking at nothing. She seemed to delight in his anger.
