White Dog was very worried as I cried through the ending of "AI." She came over to tentatively lick my hand as I tried to explain how horribly sad and depressing it was to want to be loved for 2000 years only to discover it would never "really" be. Steve and White Dog reassured me, quite lovingly, that humans (and Eskies) are very capable of giving love.
