Zalmay Khalilzad leading candidate to replace Bolton at the UN

Townhall.com is reporting that Zalmay Khalilzad, who recently was announced as leaving the position of US ambassador to Iraq, is the leading candidate to replace John Bolton as US ambassador to the UN. President Bush was reported by aides as looking for someone who approximates Bolton's combination of toughness and diplomatic skill and has tentatively decided on Khalilzad. A native of
