Welcome to Saint Alban Episcopal Mission (English and Spanish)
Join us to worship the Lord and partake of the mysteries of His Holy Eucharist every Sunday at noon. We are a Eucharist centered congregation which welcomes all believers to our services. We use the 1979 Book of Common Prayer of the Episcopal Church in the U.S.A. in our worship. We are especially happy to count among our regular worshippers persons from the Lutheran, Roman Catholic, Methodist, Presbyterian, and United Church of Canada traditions. We are ecumenical in our outlook and outreach. All baptized Christians are welcome to partake in our Eucharist. We welcome you just as you are, be you young, mature, divorced, gay, single, partnered or married. Children are welcome.
If you enjoy singing hymns, and participating in the liturgy, I hope you will find a home at Saint Alban and become a regular worshipper with us. We use the 1982 Episcopal Hymnal. We have a keyboard player and a soprano. If you like to sing, please join us. If you are just passing through or here for a short stay, please make us your spiritual home.
As priest and pastor of the Saint Alban community of faith, I am available to you for consultation after services on Sunday. Every Wednesday is a pastoral day devoted to Antigua, and you can make an appointment with me for that day. If you just want to drop by, look for me at Café Condesa on the main square on Wednesdays after 10:30 a.m. I should be the only person in the place wearing a clerical collar. I am also available on e-mail:  rfrohmader at yahoo dot com.
I live outside of Guatemala City, and am also the Associate Minister at Saint James Episcopal Mission at the Episcopal Cathedral in the capital. You can call me at home at 2366 0599 or 2366 0663 or cel phone 56 30 69 31 (not always in signal range).
I spend a lot of time at home. Please therefore call my home first. I am available for Baptisms, preparation for Confirmation, for Visitation of the Sick, for Reconciliation, and for Burials. I am also available for an informal chat and some prayers if that is what you would like. Please do not hesitate to call in an emergency, at whatever hour.
May God bless you and those you love.
