Brian McNair, in the Sunday Herald 28 August 2005, explained:

Paris Match has published photos of the wife of French interior minister Nicolas Sarkozy.

The photos show the lady in New York with her alleged 'beau', businessman Richard Attias.

According to McNair: "The two were reported to have been seeing each other all summer, holding hands in restaurants, and generally behaving like love-struck teenagers..."

Mr Sarkozy might be France’s next president.

President Mitterand, ran a parallel family and fathered an illegitimate child.
