White Dog has dazzling bright white teeth. She could do toothpaste ads with her perfect sparkling chompers. Seriously, I have never met a dog with such beautiful denturature.

She works at maintenance, too. Her army of chew toys include rawhide bones, sticks, and disks; there is an assortment of silicone or rubbery bones of different densities; special "dental health" greenies and chew sheets that are minty. White Dog has developed a regimen where each chew receives attention and serves a specific need.

As she gnaws on the leg of the sacrificial snack table, White Dog reminds me that "healthy teeth are forever." I slink into the bathroom to brush my own less than pearlies.
