We have to wait till Wednesday for this week's excitement from the Court of First Instance. On that day the Fourth Chamber gives its judgments in two Community trade mark disputes:
* Case T-19/04 Metso Paper Automation v OHIM, following the refusal to register the word mark PAPERLAB for goods and apparently services in Class 9;

* Case T-34/04 Plus v OHIM - Bälz and Hiller in which the proprietor of the national word mark POWER for goods in Class 34 has been locked in combat with an applicant to register as a Community trade mark the figurative mark "Turkish power" for goods in Classes 3, 25, 28, 32, 33 and 34.

Now THIS is what the IPKat calls Turkish power ...
