Joint IPKat master Jeremy is making some notes for a paper he hopes to deliver around the end of the year on the relevance of game theory in intellectual property law. He is working on the theory that, if IP registration, licensing and infringement were subjected to game theory, we'd all get a much better idea how the system worked and why it's sometimes more worthwhile being an owner, sometimes an infringer.
