IPKat co-master Jeremy has drafted an introductory chapter to a book on border measures and IP rights in Europe. The book contains numerous chapters, each describing how Council Regulation 1383/2003 (concerning customs action against goods suspected of infringing certain intellectual property rights and the measures to be taken against goods found to have infringed such rights) is applied in a specific Member State, together with some more wide-ranging issues such as the impact of TRIPs on cross-border regulation of IP.
