Would a government stoop to such low trickery?



US GOVERNMENT ARCHIVES : 1962 -



The Pentagon discussed a plan called Operation Northwoods whereby the CIA would carry out terrorist acts against Americans, and then blame the Cubans so that the US would have an excuse for invading Cuba. Operation Northwoods would have involved shooting down an aircraft, sinking a US ship and blowing up buildings in Miami and Washington.



ANDREAS VON BUELOW, FORMER GERMAN MINISTER OF TECHNOLOGY 13/1/02:



in Tagesspiegel (newspaper) he explains that he does NOT believe the CIA/FBI version of the events of September 11. He considers that there has been "brainwashing of the Western mass democracies." He believes the plot against Islam began with two Americans deeply involved with US intelligence : Zbigniew Brzezinski and Samuel Huntington. In the mid 1990's Huntington declared that the USA needed someone they could hate, so as to strengthen US patriotism. (Kissinger and Condoliza Rice stated similar views at that time).



Von Buelow reminds us that it was Brzezinski who thought up the idea of organising Islamic terrorists to cause trouble in Afghanistan (so as to lure the Russians into that country). Von Buelow points out that the attacks of 11 September needed "backing from the secret apparatuses of state and industry." He also explains that since 11 September certain intelligence agencies may have been have spreading false stories to confuse the public.



BBC NEWS 4 12 1997 :



"A senior delegation from the Taleban is in the United States for talks with an international energy company that wants to construct a gas pipeline from Turkmenistan across Afghanistan. A spokesman for the company, Unocal, said the Taleban were expected to spend several days at the company's headquarters in Sugarland, Texas....The proposal to build a pipeline across Afghanistan is part of an international scramble to profit from developing the rich energy resources of the Caspian."



ZDF TELEVISION (Germany) (25 8 98) :



There is compelling evidence that some of the main suspects in the 1986 Berlin disco bombing, the event that provided the excuse for the US bombing of Libya, were working for American and Israeli intelligence.



WALL STREET JOURNAL :



1998 and 2000 - George Bush senior traveled to Saudi Arabia, on behalf of defense contractor the Carlyle Group, and met the bin Laden family.



BBC NEWSNIGHT (Nov 7 2001) :



The Bush administration ordered the FBI and intelligence agencies to back off investigations involving the bin Laden family, including those bin Ladens living in the USA, right next to the CIA headquarters in Virginia.

Three American officials, Tom Simmons, Karl Inderfurth and Lee Coldren, met with Pakistani and Russian intelligence officers in Berlin and told them that the USA was planning to make military strikes against Afghanistan in October 2001.



BIN LADEN - LA VERITE INTERDITE (a French book) :



The Taleban sometimes sat in on the meetings in Berlin. The Taleban were promised a carpet of gold (a pipeline) or a carpet of bombs. The Guardian confirmed that the Taleban were informed about the US threats.



GUARDIAN :



US department of defense official Dr Jeffrey Starr visited Tajikistan in January 2001. At the same time, US Rangers were training special troops in Kyrgyzstan.



TIMES OF INDIA (9 10 01):



In the summer of 2001, General Mahmoud Ahmad, chief of the US trained Pakistan intelligence service, arranged for $100,000 to be given to Mohammed Atta (alleged hijacker on 11 Sept). (General Mahmoud arrived i n the USA on 4 September 2001 and, over the days that followed, had regular consultations with his counterparts at the CIA and Pentagon.)



LE FIGARO (31 10 2001) :



In July 2001, Osama bin Laden was a patient at the American Hospital in Dubai. He was being treated for a kidney problem by a Dr Callaway. While he was in hospital, bin Laden was visited by a CIA official. A partner in the hospital confirmed bin Laden's visit.



GUARDIAN / CNN / FOX : September 1-10 2001 -



British troops arrived in Oman for Operation 'Swift Sword.'. Two US carrier battle groups arrived off the coast of Pakistan. US troops joined NATO troops in Egypt for Operation 'Bright Star'. All these forces were in place before 11 September.



WALL STREET JOURNAL : September 6-7



- 4,744 put options (a speculation that the shares will go down) were purchased on United Airlines shares. A large number of the put options were purchased through Deutschebank/AB Brown, a firm managed until 1998 by the Executive Director of the CIA, Buzzy Krongard. (4,516 put options were bought on American airlines). These put options were 600% above normal.



None of the Israelis who worked at the World Trade Centre were killed.



THE INDEPENDENT (9 10 01)



Yvonne Ridley, the British journalist captured by the Taleban, made the claim that Western intelligence agencies tried to get her killed to bolster public support for the air strikes on Afghanistan.



SYDNEY MORNING HERALD (28 12 01) :



Afghanistan's new government said it would impose sharia islamic law. This would include people being stoned to death in public.



You want my opinion? There should be an independent investigation of the events of 11 September as the evidence points to there being something 'fishy' going on. I will certainly not be voting for any MP who has sided with Herr Bush or Herr Blair in their bombing campaign.
