LATEST IPQ

The fourth and final issue of Sweet & Maxwell's quarterly publication Intellectual Property Quarterly for 2004 has now been published. It contains four articles:

* "Making Patents Useful to Small Firms" by well-known innovation enthusiast and patent critic William Kingston;

* "The Innovation Dilemma: Intellectual Property and the Historical Legacy of Cumulative Creativity" by the IPKat's colleagues Graham Dutfield and Uma Suthersanen (if you think the title's long, wait till you see the article!);

* "Principle or Compromise? Understanding the Original Thinking Behind Statutory Licence and Levy Schemes for Private Copying" by Katerina Gaita and Andrew Christie;

* "EU Intellectual Property Law - Recent Case Developments" by Peter Turner-Kerr.

The IPKat says, there's plenty to read here if you don't like what's on telly over Xmas.
