BRANDING: SURE, IT'S IMPORTANT, BUT ...
Design Week magazine reports this week that lawyers still have a lot to learn when it comes to the branding of their services. According to a study conducted by University College Northampton and Blueberry Creative,
* 33% of British law firms have carried out no brand research at all
* 29% have never formally carried out any branding work at all, but
* 86% of senior or managing partners consider branding important and
* 81% feel they have an established brand.
The IPKat wonders how many firms of solicitors in the UK, outside of the Magic Circle and their main competitors, have even troubled to register their names as service marks.
