IPKAT TRANSLATION WATCH

A new Court of First Instance decision in Case T-117/02, Grupo El Prado Cervera SL v OHIM, is available in no fewer than nine European Union official languages: the nine consist of the 11 pre-May official languages, minus English and French (the two most widely-spoken languages in th EU). The CTM application concerned is CHUFAFIT (for dried fruit in Class 29 and for what appear to be fresh walnuts in Class 31), which is in conflict with an earlier Spanish registration of CHUFI for a variety of produce in the same classes. If any IPKat reader can browse this decision and let us all know what happened, we’d be grateful.
