An innovative paper was published, - and approved online by some of Internet users, - in which a useful analysis of aquatic ecosystem service was presented - namely, how aquatic ecosystems function toward maintaining water quality. It is important that this analysis demonstrated how almost all biodiversity of aquatic ecosystem is involved. It provides new very strong arguments in support of protection and conservation of all aquatic biodiversity.
