African! Respect & Commit to Your Man or Woman

A strong community derives it's strength from it's basic foundation which is the family. The basic element that forges the success of this foundation is both the man and the woman who hold it together.

In this day of the so called fast paced lifestyle, ( which to me is just a justification ) the foundation that is the man and woman of the african persuasion has fallen deep into a bottomless well. Now i am no relationship expert or anything like that but everyone knows that we as africans especially in the United States have a high disproportion of single mothers and dads for that matter.

The cause and effect of the single parent phenomenon within the african community can be debated endlessly from here to kingdom come depending on who is pointing the finger, male or female. A two way flow of both RESPECT and COMMITMENT between the two parties are the ingredients to a successful union of the family and the community at large. One without the other will only give you a 50/50 chance of survival rate for the union to hold together. The common illogical think of the fantasy that reads, love, romance and sex are nothing but story book tales of western money brokers who wish to sell a book. Real life is all about respect and commitment not only between a man and a woman but also on the job, associations, business etc. As one would say there is a thin line between love and hate, romance can only last so long and sexual activity only constitutes a millisecond in ones total lifetime.

A man has to respect & commit to his woman and the woman has to do the same in order for the family to prosper and the whole community to forge ahead into prosperity also. If a boy grows up without any respect for a man or woman in his household, then he never will never respect another man or woman when he grows up. If a girl grows up without the respect of a man or woman in the household she will never duplicate that respect to others when grown. We have the real life indicators of why we breed a community destined to be enslaved by the laws of a government that goes a long way to put us in enclosures that we at times do not deserve to be in.

African Men stop philandering & be men, respect & commit to your woman.
African Women stop emasculating your men & act on your role as women, respect & commit to your man.
