While talking about draconian cuts, they have scrupulously avoided talking about Social Security and Medicare – the “third rail” of American politics. The plan seems to be to find some way for Obama and the Dems to take the lead on those areas, then hammer them for it in the next election. Problem is, the GOP's own budget prince has already
