We are heart-broken today to learn the tragic news of the passing away of Sylvia de Cambra.

Sylvia was a wonderfully kind hearted person with a beautiful spirit and a smile that would inspire us all with joy and happiness. She radiated a uniquely eccentric and positive energy and was full of life, laughter and the most sincere interest in everyone who was blessed to meet her. 

She demonstrated the greatest devotion and loyalty to the National Commission of UNESCO in Andorra – always the first to volunteer her assistance with an amazing enthusiasm to participate in cultural and personal exchanges that set an example for us all.

Even during the worst moments of Sylvia’s illness, she showed the most remarkable bravery and optimism. She touched all of our hearts in a profound way that will never be forgotten.

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we bid her the saddest of farewells.

Rest in peace our dearest friend.
